Training

It is never too late to learn! As in all sectors of society, the (ongoing) training of judges and members of the public prosecutor’s department is seen as essential.

The High Council of Justice (CSJ) issues the relevant directives

The CSJ always devotes special attention to the training of judges and judicial interns in its Justice modernisation policy. The training programmes must comply with the directives that the CSJ issues in this context.

The High Council of Justice prepares and ratifies the Directives (only available in Dutch or French) for the training of judges and judicial interns.

The Judicial Training Institute (IFJ)

The Judicial Training Institute is responsible for the practical implementation and evaluation of the training programmes for judges, judicial interns and other members of the judiciary (www.igo-ifj.be).
